Dr. Meghan Knutson grew up in Ankeny, Iowa and found her calling for chiropractic at a young age. After experiencing a serious fall as a child, her parents sought out the help of a chiropractor to help with her pain. With the help of regular adjustments from her doctor, she experienced great relief and became very interested in chiropractic.
Miss Knutson decided upon a career in chiropractic early in high school. Helping others and making an impact on their lives was exactly what she wanted to do, just as her chiropractor had done for her. That decision would be the foundation of her pursuit for the next several years.
Following high school, Miss Knutson received her Bachelor’s degree from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri, one of the highest ranked schools for academia. While there, she completed an accelerated program that allowed her to start chiropractic school earlier than most.
From Truman State University, she moved farther south to St. Louis, Missouri where she attended Logan University College of Chiropractic. While there, Miss Knutson completed her certification in Acupuncture and Applied Kinesiology. She also completed her Master’s degree in Nutrition and Human Performance in April.
In her free time, Dr. Meghan loves to read, experiment with paleo and gluten free cooking, exercise, and spend time at Lake Okoboji with her family.
